Privacy Policy

This test build collects only the data needed to test the site: early-list signups, visitor intent, product-interest votes, product suggestions, gift-interest responses, party-kit interest responses, blessing submissions, feedback, lightweight site events, and admin-managed content.

Information we collect

  • Email signup: first name if provided, email address, visitor intent, consent status, signup source, and product-interest votes.
  • Product suggestions: product idea, who it may be for, tone, optional email, consent status if email is provided, and IP hash.
  • Gift interest responses: relationship to the person, support need, gift choices, optional note, optional email, consent status, and IP hash.
  • Party-kit interest responses: party theme, planning stage, printable choices, supply choices, optional note, optional email, consent status, and IP hash.
  • Blessing submissions: optional display name, tone, blessing text, status, featured flag, and an IP hash used for abuse prevention.
  • Celebrity quote admin: quote text, attribution, category, source notes, verification status, active status, homepage eligibility, and merch-safety flag.
  • Feedback: feedback answers, optional buying-interest selection, optional email, consent status if email is provided, and an IP hash.
  • Lightweight site events: event type, event label, page path, referrer when available, optional metadata, IP hash, user-agent hash, and timestamp.
  • Technical data: limited server data may be created by hosting logs. The application stores IP hashes for selected form submissions and basic event tracking, not raw IP addresses.

How we use information

  • To test whether people understand and want the Bless My Divorce concept.
  • To send future updates only to people who join the early list.
  • To measure interest in possible products, product suggestions, gift flows, and party-kit flows before Shopify launches.
  • To review and moderate Blessing Wall submissions before publication.
  • To prevent spam, abuse, doxxing, threats, and unsafe submissions.
  • To review private feedback and decide what to build next.
  • To understand basic site usage patterns without installing third-party analytics in this test version.

Public content

Blessing submissions are stored as pending by default. If approved, the public Blessing Wall may display the blessing text, tone, and display name you provided. Do not submit private information, names of ex-partners, addresses, workplaces, schools, or details you do not want reviewed for possible publication.

CSV exports and admin access

Admin-only CSV exports can download signups, product-interest votes, product suggestions, gift-interest responses, party-kit interest responses, blessings, celebrity quotes, site events, and feedback. Protect those files after download and do not store them in public folders.

Analytics, cookies, and third parties

This test build uses lightweight first-party event tracking stored in the site database. It does not require third-party analytics or Shopify checkout. If third-party analytics, email marketing, or Shopify are added later, this page should be updated before public launch.

Data requests

To request correction or deletion of an early-list signup or blessing submission, use the contact page and include the email address or details needed to find the record.
